Procedure:

1. Measurement and Marking

Firstly, measure the length and width of the room with a tape measure, determine the height of the ceiling, and draw horizontal lines on the surrounding walls with a spirit level and pencil. This horizontal line will serve as the reference for installing corner lines.

2. Install edge trim

According to the drawn horizontal line, use an electric drill to drill holes in the wall and install expansion bolts. Then fix the edge trim on the wall and tighten them with screws. The installation of corner lines needs to ensure levelness to avoid uneven installation of buckle plates in the future.

3. Install the suspension rod

Determine the position of the suspension rod based on the height of the ceiling and the design drawing. Drill holes in the ceiling with an electric drill, install expansion bolts, and secure the suspension rod to the ceiling. The spacing between suspension rods is generally 1 meter, and the specific spacing can be adjusted according to the size of the buckle plate and keel.

4. Install the wood keel

Hang the main keel on the suspension rod through connecting pieces and fix it with screws. The distance between the main keels is generally 1 meter. Then install secondary keels on the main keel, with the spacing between the secondary keels matching the size of the buckle plate. Ensure that the keel is installed flat and can be checked using a spirit level.

5. Install the buckle plate

Starting from one corner of the room, install the buckle plates on the keel in the designed order. The buckle plates are connected by a locking structure and require strong pressing to ensure a tight fit. If the buckle needs to be cut, cutting tools can be used to adjust it to fit the edge or corner position.

6. Adjustment and fixation

After installing all the buckle plates, check the overall flatness and tightness. If unevenness or excessive gaps are found, appropriate adjustments can be made. After ensuring that all buckle plates are securely installed, use screws to fix the corner lines to the buckle plates and complete the ceiling installation.
