Luxury vinyl flooring loose lay type is designed to be installed with minimal or no adhesive. Instead of a glued-down or fully interlocking system, it can keep the boards or tiles aligned because of friction, weight, backing textures, and sometimes a loose-in-place underlayment. The obvious benifit is a shorter installation time and easier removal for updates.
